Buzz and Mixx It!
Sam goes back to Dean's house and asks for a beer. Dean tells him he is on a cleansing diet and he is all out. Sam says it seems like they've fought ghosts before. He says he feels like he doesn't belong there and he should be doing something more than sitting in a cubicle. Sam says it feels like there's something in his blood that makes him destined to do something different. Sam asks what they do next and Dean says they research. Sam asks if Dean just called him Sammy, then tells him not to do it again. Dean and Sam research and Dean finds the Ghostfacers website. Sam and Dean watch the instructional video. They then research the ghost and find he was the owner of the company in the early 1900s. Dean suggest that he is still watching over the company. Sam looks further and sees that there have been other suicides at the company. Dean notices that the ghost becomes active during times of economic distress. They figure he is helping the bottom line by offing people who don't meet the standards of a good employee. Sam sees that room 1444 used to be the ghost's office. They continue to watch the Ghostfacers and learn about the powers of salt, iron, and salt rock bullets. The Ghostfacers then go on to call the Winchesters douches. The Ghostfacers say the douchey Winchesters also told them to burn the remains to get rid of a ghost. Sam sees that the ghost has been cremated. The Ghostfacers tell them that they should look for different remains such as a lock of hair or a baby tooth.
Sam and Dean return to the company and look through the ghost's old office. Sam is confronted by a security guard and is taken away. Sam tells the guard that he works there, but the guard wants to call the police. Dean watches as the two get into the elevator. Sam sees the display go out in the elevator, then sees his breath. The elevator stops and the guard pries the door open. He tells Sam to get out, but Sam says he would rather wait. The guard climbs out, then gets smashed in the elevator door. Dean calls on the radio and asks if Sam is okay. Sam tells him he will call him back.
Dean tells Sam he thinks he found something. Sam meets him and Dean is shocked by the blood on Sam's uniform. Dean shows Sam the ghost's gloves and suggests that there may be DNA inside. They break open the glass case that is holding the gloves, then the ghost appears. The ghost fights Dean and Sam sends it away with salt. Sam throws Dean an iron poker and Dean strikes the ghost. The ghost then fights back and knocks Dean on the ground. Sam sets the gloves on fire and the ghost disappears. Sam and Dean are in awe of what they just witnessed. Dean tells Sam he's never had so much fun in his life. Sam suggests that they keep fighting ghosts. Sam tells him they should quit their jobs and hit the road, but Dean doesn't know how they would survive. Dean says they can't fight ghosts without health insurance. Sam confesses that he fought the ghosts in his dreams with Dean. He says they were hunters and friends, or more like brothers. Sam wonder if that is who they really are. Dean tells Sam he is insane. Sam asks what if their life is not real. Dean tells Sam he is Dean Smith and tells Sam about his family. Sam asks when Dean talked to his family last, mentioning that he tried to call his girlfriend, but the number was bad. Sam tells Dean he has a feeling in his gut that they are supposed to be something else. Sam tells Dean that he knows he is more than a corporate douche bag. Dean tells Sam he doesn't know him and asks him to leave.
Sam returns to work and ignores an incoming call. He then stand up and smashes his phone with an iron poker. He announces that he quits and walks out. Meanwhile, Dean's boss asks if he has a minute. He asks how Dean is feeling and mentions that he looks tired. He pulls out a pen and a piece of paper, then writes down Dean's bonus. He tells Dean that he wants to make sure he doesn't go anywhere. Dean thanks his boss for his generosity, then says he quits. He explains that he has other work to do and it is very important to him. Dean says this is not who he is supposed to be and his boss laughs. He then touches Dean and tells him he is Zachariah, Castiel's superior. Dean looks at his suit and wonders why he is there and why he is so hungry. Zachariah tells Dean that this was a test to determine Dean's attitude. He says he just plunked Dean in the middle of a real company with a real ghost to see what would happen. He tells Dean he is a real hunter, not because his dad was, but because it is who he is. Zachariah tells Dean he will do everything he is destined to do. He tells Dean that he knows he is scared and has daddy issues. Dean threatens to stab him in the face. Zachariah tells Dean to quit whining about his gift and realize that there are plenty of fates worse than his. He asks if Dean is ready to stand up and be who he really is.
