Dean sits at the lake and fishes. Castiel appears and tells him they need to talk. Dean realizes he is dreaming. Castiel tells him they need to go somewhere more private. He hands Dean an address and Dean wakes up. Dean and Sam go to the address, which is an abandoned warehouse, and look around. The place is trashed and Dean sees a symbol on the wall that he recognizes as a way to fight angels. They see Castiel laying on the ground. They wake him up and Castiel tells them his name is Jimmy. Dean asks where Castiel is and Jimmy says he is gone. They take Jimmy back to their place and Jimmy wolfs down some food. He says he hasn't eaten in months. Sam asks what happened at the warehouse. He says he just saw a flash of light and woke up as himself. He says he only remembers bits and pieces of being Castiel. Sam asks if he knows what Castiel wanted to tell them. Jimmy says he's sorry, but he has no idea. He tells them he has a family in Illinois. He says the last thing he remembers is that one night he turned off the TV, then had a seizure as the lights flashed.

Sam asks Dean what they should do. Dean says they should send Jimmy back to his family. Sam thinks they should take him to Bobby's so that they can see if Jimmy knows more than he's telling them. Sam says they need to find out what caused the fight scene at the warehouse. They then tell Jimmy that he may be a target for demons. Jimmy says he doens't know anything and he wants to go home. Sam tells him the safest place for Jimmy is with them. Jimmy heads for the door and Sam stops him. Sam watches as Dean and Jimmy sleep. Jimmy wakes up and sees Sam walk out to the car. Jimmy then gets out of bed and sneaks out of the room. Meanwhile, Sam pours blood out of a flask onto his hand and drinks it.

The next morning, Dean teases Sam for letting Jimmy get away. Sam says he was just getting a Coke. Sam angrily tells Dean that they have to go. Meanwhile, Jimmy rides the bus back to Illinois. He remembers when he realized Castiel was inside him. His wife caught him with his hand in boiling water and he showed her he was fine.

Anna suddenly appears in Dean's car and Dean freaks out. She asks if they let Jimmy get away. She then notices that Sam seems different. She asks what Jimmy told them and they say nothing. She tells them that Castiel got dragged back, which means he must have pissed someone off. She says Jimmy is probably already dead.

Jimmy arrives at his home and looks inside. He sees his daughter Claire at the table with his wife Amelia. He remembers his wife tried to make him take pills because she thought he was crazy. He told her that the angels chose him and he is not one to question God's will. Jimmy told his wife that it was the most important thing that has happened to him. She told him that if he didn't get help, she would take their daughter and leave. Jimmy then put on his jacket and asked Castiel for help. A bright light appeared and Jimmy promised he would obey as long as his family would be okay. Castiel then flowed into Jimmy's body. Claire saw him outside and he told her he wasn't her father, then walked away. Jimmy comes out of his memory and goes to the door. His wife sees him and he tells her he's sorry. She says they thought he was dead. The two sit down and Jimmy says he was in a psychiatric clinic. He apologizes for not calling, then assures her that he is okay now. He asks if he can come home and she says she's not sure yet.

Sam call Ruby and tells her he is all out. He demands that she call him and give him more. Meanwhile, Jimmy sees his daughter and gives her a hug. They sit down to dinner and Claire asks if he is going to say grace. He says no, then the doorbell rings. Jimmy's friend Roger shows up at the door and Jimmy tells him he's all good now. Roger asks him what happened. Jimmy says he wouldn't believe him if he told him. Roger then tells Jimmy he is going to gut his daughter while he watches. Roger reveals his demon eyes and Jimmy starts to beat him up. Amelia walks in and asks Jimmy what he is doing. Jimmy tells her that Roger is a demon. Jimmy puts down a salt line and tells his wife not to cross it. Claire runs and Roger grabs her. Roger's wife runs in at beats up Jimmy. Amelia then sees that Roger and his wife are both demons. Sam and Dean arrive and fight off the demons. Sam tries to use his psychic powers, but is unable to fight the demons. Dean successfully fights them off. Jimmy and his family get into the Impala and the group drives away.

Jimmy tells Sam and Dean they were right. Sam tells Jimmy that the demons know he was a vessel and they will try to dissect him for information. Sam tells Jimmy that he has to stay with them to remain safe. Sam tells him it's forever and the only way Jimmy can keep his family safe is to stay as far away from them as possible. Jimmy tells his wife he has to go. She tells him she's sorry she didn't belive him. Jimmy tells his wife to take their daughter and seek shelter. She refuses to split up the family, but Jimmy says they have no choice. Sam hotwires a car for Amelia and Jimmy tells them goodbye. Jimmy then gets in the car with Sam and Dean and they drive off. Claire asks her mom why Jimmy is leaving. Amelia reveals demon eyes and slaps her.

Dean asks Sam why he almost fainted when they were fighting the demons. Sam says he doesn't know what to say. Dean tells Sam that he has been scaring him. Sam then gets a call and hands the phone to Jimmy. He takes the phone and hears his wife. The three make a plan to save Jimmy's family. Sam tells Dean that it is probably a trap. Dean tells Sam he has a plan.

Jimmy goes off and starts yelling at Castiel. He asks for help, but gets no answer. Jimmy then finds his demon wife and begs her to leave his family alone. She tells him that he should have come alone. Sam and Dean are then brought to the room by a group of demons. Amelia shoots Jimmy in the gut and he falls to the ground in pain. A demon goes to hit Claire, but she fights the demon off. Claire then goes to all of the demons and takes them out. Sam sees that one of the demons is bleeding. He sucks the blood out and shocks Dean and Claire. Sam sees Amelia come up behind Dean and is able to remove the demon from her body. Claire, as Castiel, thanks Jimmy for his help and tells him to go home and rest. He tells Jimmy that Claire will be with him now. He begs for Castiel to pick him instead of his daughter. Castiel agrees and takes over Jimmy's body. Castiel walks off and Dean asks what he was going to tell him. Castiel tells him that he serves Heaven, not man, and especially not him.

Sam and Dean drive away in silence. Sam demands that Dean yell at him about what he saw. Sam tells Dean that he can explain, but Dean says he doesn't care. Dean says he's tired and he is done. The phone rings and Sam answers. Bobby tells the brothers to get to his place ASAP. They arrive and Bobby tells Sam to go into a cell so they can talk. Sam walks in and Bobby slams the door. He tells Sam it is for his own good as he locks the door.

I thought Misha Collins did a great job of acting as both Jimmy and Castiel. It was amazing to see him as two completely different people within minutes. Castiel seems to be really angry with Dean. I wonder if it is because Dean is allowing Sam to fight demons with him or if he has another reason. Come to think of it, it seems like there is a good chance that Castiel isn't actually Castiel. Maybe Jimmy was taken over by another angel. The upcoming episodes look really intense. I was stunned that Bobby and Dean locked Sam up, but I think it was the best thing they could do for him. I wonder if Sam is going to grow more evil and resent them for caging him up. He's going to be pissed off if he can't participate in the end of days war. It's pretty messed up that Sam is at the point where he sucks blood out of demons. It seems, though, that the blood would just be human blood. I suppose once a demon is inside a body, it seeps into the bloodstream too. I have a feeling that Bobby is going to end up getting hurt. It seems like Sam will probably find a way to get out of the cell and he might be a little angry.
