Jamie measures Nate's height and finds that he is the same height as he was in high school. Jamie is excited about his talent show later that night. Nate tells Jamie that he can only try his best. Nate then heads out for a professional basketball tryout and tells Haley and Jamie he will see them at the talent show.

Brooke calls Sam down for breakfast. She knocks on Sam's door and sees her sneaking a boy out of her window. Brooke is upset, but Sam says that he is her friend and his brother beats on him sometimes so he needed a place to stay. Sam says nothing happened, but Brooke doesn't believe her. She tells Sam to let her know the next time she has someone over for the night.

Julian meets with Luke and he tells her that he will stay with him on the movie. Julian tells Luke to test Peyton by going away for a few days and if she doesn't fall in love with him again, he knows their relationship is good. Julian tells Luke he's just kidding, but says that Luke does really have to meet with Dixon, a producer for the movie.

Peyton meets with a doctor and says that she's had pain for a few days. The doctor asks her about her family history and Peyton says that her mom died from cancer. He tells her that he will run some tests and get back to her.

Sam meets with her friend at the diner and laughs about him sneaking out. She then sees Julian and sits down with him. She asks for help and he says she can help him too. Sam asks him to read some of the stuff she's written. He asks her to tell him about Brooke. Sam asks if he's asking about her clothing line for the movie and he says yes. He then asks for Brooke's number and if she is single.

Brooke nails her windows shut while Millie tells her about seeing Gigi and Marvin together in the parking lot. Brooke tells Millie that Mouth isn't going to fall for Gigi. Meanwhile, Gigi is at work with Marvin and asks if he ever thought about having sex on the news desk. He admits that he has. She then asks him to come to her going away party later that night.

Peyton tells Mia that she has to get back in the studio. Mia says that she's had a lot going on and hasn't had a chance to write much. Peyton then hands her a cd that the label gave her and says to pick one to record. Mia says that she writes her own songs, but Peyton points out that she hasn't written anything lately. Peyton then gets a call from Lucas who tells her that he is going to Los Angeles.

Nathan shows up for the tryouts and is turned away because he doesn't have a professional affiliation. Bobby Irons sees him and tells the manager that Nathan is with them. The other players make fun of Nathan's shoes, but Nate shows them up when he is able to jump higher than them. Nate gets his height measured and is made fun of for only being 6'2''. Nate says he's trying out for point guard. Bobby Irons says okay and asks if he's ever played point before. Nate flashes back to playing basketball with Q and being told that playing as a point guard was the only way he would get a chance to play pro-ball. On the court, Nathan analyzes his opponent's moves and takes advantages of all his openings.

Brooke is at her shop and hears OMD's 'Don't Forget About Me ' on the radio. She turns it up and dances. Julian walks in and catches her dancing. He then asks Brooke to design the wardrobe for Lucas's movie. He gets a call from Sam and tells her that he's not going to blow it. Brooke is annoyed that he is talking to Sam. He tells her to think about the offer and leaves.

Brooke returns home and Sam asks if she was skanky in high school. Brooke denies it, but Sam has read her yearbook. Brooke tells Sam that she was attacked in her store and it has made her a little closed off, especially with boys lately. Brooke then tells Sam that she was slutty in school and regrets it. Sam tells Brooke that she likes talking to her and Brooke agrees.
