Chris asks why it is called Operation Blue Condor. Ray says that it should be called Operation Up Your A** Nunzio. Marie arrives and asks if their work is for the benefit of the city. Marie says good bye to the crew and to Sam. Ray tells Sam that Marie likes him. Anthony arrives and tells Gene that he can't believe that he stole a suspect. Anthony tells Gene that he is going to make the Precinct into a parking lot. They argue then Anthony leaves. Sam meets with Gene in his office and asks if his rivalry with Anthony involves a girl. Gene tells Sam that Anthony and and him were tight in the past. He says that they both saw a girl named Angela. Gene says that Anthony called her first. Gene says that Angela left him a few years after they got married. Gene says that they have three great kids together.

Ray and Sam question Yuri. Gene tells Yuri that a woman died after he robbed the bank. Ray says that they recognize his shoes in the photo of the robbery. Sam tells Yuri that he doesn't believe that he is a robber and murderer. Yuri says that he was an engineer in Kiev. He says that he went to Vasilly to try to bring his family to the States. He says that his family was brought to the US, but Vasilly is holding them for ransom. Yuri tells Sam that he robbed a bank to try to get the money. He says that Vasilly said that he will kill his family if he doesn't come up with more money. Later, Sam brings Yuri a sandwich and uncuffs him. Yuri says that he didn't mean to kill the woman. Sam asks Yuri why he left the Soviet Union. Yuri says that he worked on a project involving brain waves. He says that his team implanted minature robots in people to confirm or deny if there is a human soul. Yuri says that his results are inclusive. As Yuri talks, Sam sees a robot crawl out of Yuri's eye and roll away.

Gene and Anthony meet in a bar. They reminice about the times where they stole each other's cases. They speak about Angela. Anthony says that he has one less broken heart. Gene tells Anthony that they should not let Yuri's family get killed because of their rivalry. Anthony tells Gene where Vasilly is holding Yuri's family.

Marie finds Sam in the precinct and tells him that she is looking for Gene. Marie tells Sam that he was good with Alexie. Sam brings Marie to a file room and they make love. After they finish, Annie finds Sam and Marie fixing each other's clothes. Ray goes up to Sam and he says that he was out to get some air. Ray says that he would like to get some air like that.

Gene and the crew go to Vasilly's. Sam tells Vasilly that if he threatens a man, and if the man murders someone, the murder comes back to him. Vasilly tells Gene and the team that they don't need guns to take them away. The team puts down their guns. Vasilly calls for more of his men to come out. Anthony arrives with his crew. Anthony tells Gene that he loved Angela. Gene says that he did too. The two squads begin to fight the Russians. After the fight, Yuri's family is released and brought to the station.

Later, Sam goes to a bar and approaches Annie. Sam asks her if there is anything is wrong. Annie says that she wants to talk to him as a friend. A man approaches Annie and pulls her away to dance. Anthony and Gene drink and celebrate. Marie arrives and Sam gets her a drink. Anthony approaches Maria and Sam hears them talk. Sam learns that Maria is Anthony's daughter. Ray tells Sam that dating the boss's rival's daughter is not the way to get ahead in America.
