Annie and Sam go to Ronald's house. Rita introduces Sam and Annie as Tom Cruise and Valerie to the other party goers. A woman asks Sam what he does. Sam says that he is into risky business and the color of money. The woman tells Sam that she doesn't know what he is talking about. Roland has everyone place their keys in the bowl. Gene arrives with a girlfriend. Sam introduces Gene as George and Laura Bush. Gene tells Sam that Annie's mike went out. Ronald tells Gene to put his keys in the bowl. The ladies start to pick keys. Rita chooses Sam and Ronald sees that he is going to be paired with Annie. Sam goes into the bedroom with Rita. Sam asks Rita if she likes the swinger life. Rita says that she likes what Ronald likes. Sam asks if Ronald likes to tie up girls. Rita asks why he is so interested in her husband. Rita starts to undress Sam. Sam and Gene hear Annie scream. Sam and Gene find Ronald tied up in the room. Annie tells Sam and Gene that she had everything under control, then leaves the room. Sam and Gene tell Ronald that they are the police. Sam and Gene then hear Annie scream in the other room. The team tries to follow Annie while listening to her microphone. They hear the voice of the homeless man and realize she is where they found Valerie's body.

Rita pushes down Annie and tells her that Ronald fell in love with Valerie. Rita tells Valerie that she thought she got rid of her. The police arrive and find that Annie has disarmed Rita.

Ronald goes to the station and tells Sam that he can't believe Rita killed Valerie. Ronald tells Sam that he can see a connection between him and Annie. Later, Annie meets with Sam and tells him that reading Valerie's diary got her thinking. Annie goes to Gene's office and tells him that she wants to be promoted to be a detective. After everyone else leaves the station, Sam finds a magazine that he used to read as a kid in the trash. He looks at it and realizes that the picture of the flight attendant looks exactly like Annie.
