The hunter tells Noah that he saw Claire's car parked near the comic book store. Noah says it's a small town and the hunter tells him they'll talk later.

Luke and Sylar eat at a diner. Luke puts his powers on display by making a man's glass of milk boil. Sylar gets angry and says their powers are not to be used for amusement. Sylar tells Luke that there are rules. He tells Luke to keep a clear head and understand his motivation. Sylar says his motivation had always been about acquiring abilities, but now it is about finding his father. Luke asks what Sylar is hoping to see and Sylar says he wants to know where he came from and why he turned out the way he did. Luke then writes down Sylar's father's address. Sylar tells Luke he shouldn't have done that because now there is nothing keeping him from killing him. Sylar sees a couple of men enter the building. He tells Luke to get up and leave. A man puts a gun to the back of Sylar's head. Several other armed men surround the two. Luke begs the men to not let Sylar hurt him anymore. Luke says he just wants to go back to his mom. Sylar escapes and steals Luke's car, leaving him at the diner. The armed men chase after him and Luke is shot in the back with a taser dart.

Anapora tells Hiro that Deepak will let Ando go if she agrees to marry him. The wedding then goes on. Hiro runs in and stops the wedding. Deepak tells Hiro that he is making a mistake. Hiro tell Deepak that Anapora doesn't want to marry him. Anapora's grandfather asks her if it is true and Anapora says yes. Deepak grabs Anapora and takes off. Hiro punches Deepak and puts a knife to him. Hiro demands he return his friend and Deepak finally agrees. Hiro is thrilled that he got to be a hero.

Noah finds Claire and she says she was applying for a job at a coffee house. He tells her that he knows she is lying. He asks her if she knows what will happen if they find out he can't control her. Claire tells Noah he can't control her.

The Hunter tells Nathan that they were able to detain a boy at the diner, but Sylar got away. Abby walks in with a cease and desist order. Nathan asks Abby to give him some more time. Nathan tells Abby that the people he is detaining are dangerous. Abby says there is no justification for taking away people's human rights. Meanwhile, Tracy tries to break free from her chains. The alarm sounds and Nathan sees Tracy holding a gun to a man's head. The man tries to fight her off, but she turns him into ice and kills him. Nathan's men shoot Tracy as Abby watches the events unfold. Abby looks at the wall of heroes. Nathan tells her he's sorry she had to witness what Tracy did. Nathan tells Abby he wouldn't be doing what he's doing if he didn't think it was necessary. Abby tells Nathan he will have all the funding he needs.

Sandra asks Claire about her day. Claire says she was busy. She then tells Sandra that Noah has been abducting people with powers. Claire tells Sandra that they had all the people loaded on to a plane and they were drugged and hooded. Claire tells Sandra she can't lie to her anymore. Noah then walks in with Indian food. Sandra tells Claire to go upstairs. Sandra tells Noah she knows what he is doing. Noah tells her she has no idea how big it is. He tells her that he has no choice and it's the only way to protect Claire.

Nathan goes to Tracy, who is tied up again. Tracy says she knows he wanted her to escape. She tells him that next time she will escape. Meanwhile, Nathan's men are taking Luke away in a van. Sylar enters the van, kills the men and takes one of their uniforms. He then grabs Luke and walks away.

Ando tells Hiro he was right. Hiro says he learned he doesn't need his powers to be a hero. Anapora walks in and tells Ando he has a fax. Hiro reads it and realizes it's a message from destiny.

Noah tells Claire that her mother wants him to move out of the house. He says she is right and he keeps too many secrets. He says he is going to try harder to be a better person. He tells Claire that he will be around and they will get through this. Claire gives him a hug goodbye and cries. She then grabs her sleeping bag and hands it to Alex, who is hiding in her room.

Luke thanks Sylar for coming back for him. Sylar says he didn't come back for him, he came back because he needs him to figure out how they were tracking him.

Nathan tells the hunter the name of the man that Tracy killed. Nathan asks if he let Tracy out to murder an innocent man. The hunter tells Nathan he saved his project and did what needed to be done.

Noah sits in a hotel bar and has some drinks. He looks at his glass and starts to get dizzy. He takes off his glasses and collapses. Matt and Peter pick up Noah. They tell the bartender that Noah is their friend and they will look after him.
