Week 3: March 18

- The third episode of America's Next Top Model Cycle 12 aired tonight. Read the recap and review to find out what happened and who was eliminated.

The girls return home and process the judges criticisms. They get Tyra mail and read that they have to mind their Ps & Qs, and J. Natalie decides to help the other ladies by giving them runways tips. They are then taken to an old mansion and greeted by Miss J. They are told to change and the contestants find outfits with their names on them. J shows them how to walk, then critiques the ladies while they walk. J hands Allison a book to put on her head for practice and tells Natalie she was the best walker. Former Top Model contestants then walk in and give the ladies more advice.

The ladies go back home and play Truth or Dare. Tahlia gets upset when Natalie tells her she had the worst picture. They then get Tyra mail and read that the runway is the worst place to have excess baggage. Allison is really nervous because she feels like she is the worst on the runway. They then are introduced to Jill Stuart and she tells them that they will be modeling her spring fashion line on the runway. J adds a twist and tells them that they will have to carry shopping bags on the runway. After the show, Jill Stuart tells the contestants that they all did well. She then announces that, although she didn't like the twirl she inserted in the middle of the runway, Natalie was still the best. Natalie is then awarded some pieces from the collection.

The ladies get home and find more Tyra mail that tells them to be careful tomorrow or they could get thrown under the bus. They then meet with Jay and he tells them that they will be having a photo shoot on a tour bus. He says they will be separated into groups and will have to pick landmarks to highlight. He says that they have to be able to tell from the picture where they are and who they are. The ladies are then made up and get on the bus. Jay give the ladies roles and tells them to act them out for the pictures. Fo and Aminat are stock brokers, Kortnie and Nijah are told to be Soho artists, Sandra and Celia are nannies, London and Allison are snobs, Tahlia, Teyona and Natalie are told to be tourists. Jay tells Tahlia that he thinks she was the best.

The ladies get Tyra mail and read that they will be meeting with the judges and only 10 will continue. Allison is nervous that she is going to be the one to go home because Jay told her she wasn't doing well during her photo shoot. The ladies gather in front of the judges. Kortnie and Nijah are the first to hear their picture was not good. Fo and Aminat are told that their picture was great. Celia and Sandra step forward and the judges are split. They think Sandra looks great, but Celia not as much. Tahlia, Teyona, and Natalie are told their shot was good, but Natalie was the worst of the three. London and Allison are the last to be analyzed and the judges are not impressed with Allison's portrayal.

The judges send the contestants away and look over the photos. They reach a decision and call the ladies back in the room. Tyra calls Sandra forward and tells her she had the best picture. Aminat is the next to be called, followed by Tahlia, Fo, Celia, Kortnie, London, Teyona, and Natalie. Allison and Nijah are asked to step forward. Tyra tells Allison she is unique and tells Nijah she is beautiful. She then announces that Allison will stay and Nijah is sent home.

Tyra really seems to be fond of Allison. I didn't think either one of their photos was particularly terrible. Personally, I thought Kortnie's photo was scary. What do you think? Post your comments below.
